New installation experience
We are pleased to introduce the new new design of the installation process:
Reduce Visual Studio's minimum memory footprint.
The installation is faster, the system is less affected and completely uninstalled.
Making it easier for you to choose and install only the required features.
The first time you install Buy Visual Studio 2017 RC Key, you get a new experience:
The minimum installation is only a few hundred megabytes, but still supports basic code editing for more than 20 languages and source code management. Most users will want to install more features, so you can add one or more "workloads" that represent common frameworks, languages, and platforms - covering the development of data from .NET desktop to using R, Python, and F #.
As the release progresses, we will continue to optimize and expand the workload list. In particular, since .NET Core, Xamarin, Python, and Data Science workloads have not yet reached RC quality, they have been marked as "preview" quality. At this stage, the three workloads should not be relied on in the production environment.
Important matter
If you have a preview version of Visual Studio 2017 installed on your computer, you will be prompted to remove this preview version before installing Visual Studio 2017 RC.

Provide feedback on the new installer
We very much hope that you try this preview and look forward to receiving your feedback. You can use the new installer client to report the problem _ and _ to provide suggestions _ to report the problem or provide advice. Specifically, we would like to know if you encountered an error when installing, uninstalling, or modifying the installation, and whether you encountered an abnormal installation time (such as hang) or an unexpected error message.
New in _RC _ Creates a layout for offline installation and new command line installation support
The system administrator can now create an offline layout of Visual Studio that contains everything that is required to install the product without having to access the Internet. To do this, use the - layout [path] switch (for example, vs_enterprise.exe --layout c: \ mylayout) to run the bootloader executable file associated with the product to be used offline. This will download the required packages for offline installation. Alternatively, you can specify the locale code for the product language you want to include (for example, lang en-us). If not specified, support for all localized languages will be downloaded.
To install from a layout folder, simply run the bootloader executable from the newly created layout folder. Please note that you still need to download the signature verification certificate from the Internet. Will be in the upcoming release to resolve the need for connection. Finally, please note that the Android SDK needs to be installed via an online connection.
You can also run Visual Studio components from the command line by running C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Visual Studio \ Installer \ vs_installershell.exe. Use the --help switch to get detailed information about command line options.
Enhanced Visual Studio feedback workflow
